Working with English Heritage and Leigh Cain Creative to re-design the The Corbridge collection at the visitor centre in Corbridge Roman Town.
The Corbridge Hoard is the star of the collection-a stunningly preserved piece of history. Sculptural materials and large heavy stones are mounted on long plinths in three colour coded zones, with nearly 800 showcased objects mounted onto white acrylic inserts.
A thirteen meter timeline stretches the entire length of the museum layering civilian information about objects, materials and everyday life of this bustling Roman town.
We were delighted to commission Lyndon Hayes to bring this military complex in the heart of Northumberland to life. Lyndons illustrations of both artefacts found on site & adaptions of what many of the streets would have looked like were used through out the centre and his beautiful line work meant the illustrations felt full of life and gave the graphics a contemporary and fresh slant.
